An island paradise isn’t complete without a picturesque beach and Koh Tao offers you a choice of so many. A day is easily lost to the calm turquoise waters, white sands and baking Thailand sun.
With so much choice its difficult to know which ones to choose. Luckily we have compiled a list of recommendations to help you along the way.
Sairee beach – Stretches 1.85 km up the west coast, making it one of the most popular with the most amenities. Accommodation, food, nightlife and dives schools can be found along the entire stretch.
Tanote Bay – Located on the east coast and surrounded by hills and boulders this beach is a little harder to access. It’s worth the trip as it has some amazing snorkelling and exciting cliff jumping.
Banana Rock – Is our top pick for seclusion and romance. A quiet tucked away spot with pristine waters, chalk white sands and a sweet wooden swing.
Shark Bay – Want to spot a shark, the snorkelling at this private bay gives you the best chance. Commonly spotted are also turtles and manta rays.
